Best. Museum. Ever.
Well, we went to the Natural History Museum today and, as said above, it was the Best. Museum. Ever. Well, first we went on this Water Taxi thing (Thames Clipper), which was quite cool.
And, before even that (I am not ordering this right am I?), we got Mum's bag back. It was rather... wrecked. I mean, one of the handles had been ripped off. We think it was the conveyor belt.
So, at the museum there was a huge skeleton of a dinosaur and a giant sloth. Then we went to a zone called the Green Zone (we didn't even look through the whole zone).There was a life-size (5m tall) termite mound you could walk in and a Bug House (rather gross) with a mechanical scorpion. We went to the bird house - so many stuffed birds! There was a HUGE cage full of stuffed humming birds! Not so cool. There was an Ecology room- that was cool. In the basement there was a picnic room with funny-coloured tables - we got a pink elephant! Right next to that was an interactive room. You got to choose a specimen, draw it, label it weigh it etc. Did you know it is international bat week (or something like that)? We hardly saw any of the museum, so we are going back (hopefully).

    that sounds SO cool, i wish i was there.
    Bat week? Whats next, flying squirrel week? (actually that would be pretty cool)
    Anyway i would love to have a photo dedicated to me! :) (a nice photo though please...)
    P.S was the pink elephant life sized?

      YES! I will most definitely dedicate a photo to you! I will try and make sure it is a nice one! Flying Squirrel week would be AWESOME!!!!!!! The elephant was elephant baby sized, I guess.

      Oh, and there i was thinking you had taken home a stuffed, dyed, life sized elephant! On second thoughts that was a bit extreme, i mean the place you're staying at would probably be way too small! :)

      Cool, why haven't you been blogging? What have you been up to recently? Have you been back to the museum? So many questions! :) Also was the baby elephant a toy?
      Totsiens! Ek wens ek was daar. Was jy ernstig is oor al die sokkerballe in die rivier?
      (BTW that is in another language! Try and figure out what it says... ;D)

    The sloth doesn't look very slothy! It looks more, sort of dinosaur-y!
    Also it's a shame about your mums bag. Did you get the contents back as well?
