Highlights
- Seeing a swan eat bread off the side of the boat. It was really cute! It was all fluffy and it had puffy wings. Its neck wasn't very white! It was all brown and manky. I guess swans can't reach their own necks. They should get other swans to do it for them. Sadly, I didn't get a photo as we ran out of bread to feed it. The swan only had on eye, though! That was sad. When we left where we were moored, it tried to follow us. It was probably thinking more bread, more bread! But, it made me want to take it home. Would that not be a great souvenir?
- Seeing the whole school of little baby goslings! There was a gaggle (I believe that is what you call them) of Canadian geese. But, the really cute thing was, when we came along, a small number of geese herded all of the babies to safety! There was a lot of babies. And not that many adults. But it was quite possibly one of the cutest things I have ever seen on this trip. Definitely in the top 5. It must have been a nursery.
