The Canal-Day Two

Yummy. I really like chocolate. It tastes nice. It is really, really nice melted, but that is possibly a bit over the top.
You may be wondering what all that was about. I will just build up suspense and start from the start.
I got woken up! Yes, I am on holiday, but I still had to get up early! I do believe you do not get woken up on Sundays. Anyway, once we were actually moving- yes, on a canal boat you do have to move- even if it is only at walking speed - we went through a gazillion locks, and then we reached a long tunnel. And another. And another. All of the tunnels had stalactites, and they looked really cool.
Back to the CHOCOLATE. We went to the original Cadbury (Cadbury is not in the dictionary?) Factory in Bourneville. We went to one room where you 'made your own chocolate'. Not really. You just chose a sweet and got melted chocolate poured on it.
Then we went on a Self-Guided Tour. First you went through a strange room with plastic people. I couldn't even tell what gender the things were.
Then you go through a  room with little mirror people in a puppet theater. Odd.

Then we went through a room with an odd guy... REALLY REALLY ODD, wearing a badly fitting fake white wig. He bet Jack (who he called 'Sharon') he could drink a glass of water with a rag over it without touching the rag. He 'drank' the water (HE DIDN'T, PEOPLE! BIG WARNING SIGN! WATCH CAREFULLY!) then told Jack he had drank it. He invited Jack to lift the rag and see. Jack lifted the rag, revealed a full glass of water which the Creepy Dude just drunk. No offense to the Creepy Dude if he is reading this. You are great at your job - scaring small children. Don't worry, I forgive  you. That child may not have heart problems when they are older! We just have to wait! OK?
Then we went through an interactive thingy-ma-bob, and another, before we saw chocolate being packaged. It is not really that interesting, BTW.
Then we went on a CoMpLeTeLy CrAzY ride which I did not get. They took a photo of all of us - I looked sunburnt, Jack looked diabolical, Dad looked surprised (his eyes are popping out), and yet Mum looked fine.
Then we left. It was fun AND I GOT CHOCOLATE! IT WAS WORTH IT!
P.S. On the canal we have seen ducklings and goslings and cygnets! They are sooo CUTE! I WANT ONE!
P.P.S Do you really really want more of the Revolt of the Peasants of Exclamation Mark?
P.P.P.S Any suggestions for what I could do if I have a really boring day on the canal? Y'know me, always looking after the locals. Even though I am miles and miles and miles and miles and miles away from you lot. XD
